September is the New Year of fashion, and the official Christmas countdown for the Noypi. Agree? Haha. Strange as it is, I admire this comical culture, that we Filipinos glorify our excitement for yuletide season three months in advance. SPEAKING of culture, we love, I mean we profoundly love the culture of beauty pageants. We embrace beauty and celebrate diversity! People, who wouldn't?!! For those who are not pageant enthusiast, beauty pageant is not only a battle of proportions, fairness, calculated grace and wit. Most of it is a pageant for a cause. The cause may vary, but they share denominators – acceptance and empowerment.

Last August, we ( my besties ) made to witness the glamorous debut of Queen of The Philippines ( formerly called Queen of Cebu) at Waterfront Hotel. A pageant for the alternatives which every transexual and transgender dreamed to bear the crown - count me in! This is my four-year streak and still I'm beyond engrossed by the the glitz and sophistacation of the pageant. I keep on learning from the candidates. In relevance for that night's gala, I wore nothing but a literal sparkly outfit. I dress like I'm wearing all the constellations. Shine, shine, shine.

It's Flashback Friday! Friends, what are you up to this weekend? Why not visit a place that pacify your eyes from the fussy daily grinds. C'mon, be fair to yourself. I know what you wanted, give in for an exotic adventure. For a cleaner and greener vision, I suggest you visit , Bojo River in Aloguinsan.

Bojo River, for me, is nothing special. Yes, since I always get to see this sight in postcards, travel magazines, wallpapers and even in NatGeo. Dreamy right? I'm certain what you imagined. But guess what, guys it exists for real! Five exclamation marks.  Just as I thought I wouldn't be able to see this for real. And this enchanted place lies in the south-western countryside, a three-hour ride from the city. 

Upon entering the meek jungle, invisible life form’s melody and wind whispers serenaded us all in one playlist. As a visitor, I was dead-astounded by its spectacular nature, again, I was in all observation! Clean and mossy green, the way I describe this secluded biodiversity.

“If loving fashion is a crime, I plead guilty”. It's true. I'm a self-confessed criminal in fashion, so arrest me now, haha . It makes sense, since I was young I always care about what I dress and how I look. It all started from my deep value from the basics - not until glossy pages, people in all walks of life ( from the conventional to the distinguished ), intricate masterpieces ( in films, architecture, photography, literature, art and fashion), and the advent of social media influence me to create a profound love for style. And my love in style is burgeoning and getting deeper, I realized fashion is a fashion and style is eternity!

The word style is a such a hefty word which some influential people in history immortalize their own definition/s. The Coco Chanel once stated , “ Fashion changes, style endures.” Succinct it is, but I will nod a lifetime to her perception about style. At my age, I am still seeking for my personal definition, but let my clothes and character do the talking. What I am certain is that I'm into basics. I'm a sultry-boho, sometimes polished yet textured, and of course always street-wise. I love details! Anyways, when God created great jewels on earth, we ( my besties ) were helpless but get engaged with it. Like these tropical landscapes in the pictures. Still, this place is in the Hidden beach ( where we celebrated Jame's silver natal celebration) , but there is an extra extra-scoop of the resort's beauty! A hidden paradise within the hidden. It was a cool splendid morning when our curious soles led us to this splendid nook. Albeit scared, we woke up this sleeping cove with our excitement and gratitude! Stay curious, and you will never fail. Indeed, we didn’t ( high touch Carie and Reina! ). And here's the product of our idle and wander.

Today's generation, technical viral hashtag is a fashion, who wouldn't know the quintessential #tuloyangmodeling on social media, well I just justified this hashtag to the-next-level! :D Revealing the model in me, like #frustratedmodel. haha Guys, forgive me, but brace yourself cuz I'm about to present my 360 degrees poses!

The next instruction was: pose à la horny Survivor. Horny Survivor?! But I'm not horny that time ( XD ), I mean I don't know how to do it?! But I'm game for it. Go lang sa mga modeling. :D

Forgive me guys, I was just being taught. Now you see my 90% being - physically! Don't bother the other 10% , because, just. :D

Remember my previous post? It defines the word beach, it states that, it's a place for relaxation, rest, and tranquilty - and modeling! Well if you got the guts, why not? By the way, while we were busy taking and striking a pose the birthday boy was dead drunk and asleep,  haha Poor James. HBD!
