Summer is the most ideal season for any whimsical excursions – may be solo, couple or group. For some reasons; it's weather worry-free for every outdoor fantasy, everything can be very photogenic from places to faces and it's written in the culture of the tropics, if you know what I mean. So better prepare your most comprehensive itinerary and the boldest pen to highlight your bucketlist! And exclaim, “ Bucketlisted!”.

To experience our first summer-stretch, as a team, we decided to visit Bantayan Island. It's a northern paradise which is famous for their dried fish, odd but festive Holy Week and sun-sational beaches. This place might be a mainstream for every team-buildings, but you can't blame the place. It is peppered with many exciting places for adventures, from island hopping to skydiving. Food? Tagu-angkan is a must-try.  From these facts, it may show a hint that I am a local there, because partly, I am. Fortunately, this is my mother's hometown which with much conviction I consider my second home. Thanks mom! <3


Back to the team. Nobody was in composure, everybody was in constant grin. Minutely thrilled by curiosity.  We can't help but show our excitement with each other's company, and not to mention the place. Honestly, as regular, I wasn't that excited. I was more on a bigger picture, and that's the giggle, the bullies, the photo ops and the chat with the team. Ooops, the food of course! Kaway-kaway sa mga coma ( coma-kaon ) out there. LoL! Interestingly and ironically speaking, we never thought how blessed we were with food that time, since everybody was broke. We did this excursion last March 13, the edge of destitution, shall I say. But it was a hashtag binged galore! Right fellas? haha

Guys, the aforementioned text is just an intro, I am afraid I may be spoiling your excitement to see the places and how we joyfully conquer the island.  To give you a short account ( from departure to arrival, vice versa ), here are the pictures. BE very envy.

After that gratifying Bantayan Proper experience, we hastened to our place in Sta. Fe to plunge and witness the romantic sunset. We raced in liberation on that Sunday dusk and chased each other. Guys, I can't forget how we saw the stars slowly sharpened their spark as the night surrendered while we were lying the powdery sandbar. If the stars could only take picture of us while we were staring at them. Perfection. Meanwhile, Ms Fe was having her me-time in our cottage, left us clueless what she was doing.  haha

Looking at these photos may give you the feeling that you are with us. You can trace our enjoyment from achieving our itineraries chronologically. Please be noted, this was only a night sojourn but we did a LOT of things! All was well is an understatement.  This memorable team escape will eternally seal my memory. It's perfect for my last team excursion, I'll surely miss the company of course. If possible I'd like to bask with them again under the summer sun. PS, I dedicate this post to Nanay Letty who wasn't in the picture. Here's the Tropas in their gargantuan smiles!  Insert Nanay. :)
