Cebu. The ideal to many. The cradle of Christianity and civilization in the country. The island that celebrates beauty, artistry, festivity and faith at truest. Where the busy metropolitan lights complement the humming waves of the tropical beaches. Home of topnotch talents in music, entrepreneurship, furniture-making and fashion industry- enough to console myself as a true citizen of the world! And did I mention tourism? Well, Condé Nast Traveler Magazine once named Cebu as best island destination in Asian- Pacific. Cebu is a hammock to people who are dying for emancipation in their regular grinds. And no wonder I am having this strong urge to explore this island 360 degrees and herald its untold beauty. Enough about these dreamy trivias, get engaged, zoom in your senses and submit your imagination to one hidden piece of heaven here exclusively in the Queen City of the South!


For my first Happy Feet post, I will feature the humble Tan-Awan Cangcuay Beach Resort of Oslob.


This is my second visit in this Southern province, and I already had a great encounter with the renowned gentle giants of the sea and doused myself in the dramatic Tumalog falls. And it was all incredible! When I heard about Tan-awan I was a bit estranged that it lies in Oslob, cuz this place is famous for their whale sharks and falls. But hey, there's an add-on surprise for your itinerary Oslob visit. Reminders: when going there, please make sure to ask the bus' dispatcher if he knew where Tan-awan is, if not, ask him to stop somewhere in Sea Safari Resort. If you both don't know, well just enjoy the ride, kidding! :D Ahmm, a reliable smartphone is a great help. :)

And you will be surprised to see this rest house that gives you an urban-feel. For further inquiries, feel free to research about it's rental in case you're feeling like a rich kid,  haha .I've heard it's kinda expensive.



Going to the main landscape was not an easy feat. You have to jump off hurdle - a major hurdle. I mean this!



So better stretch your muscles and patellas to the next level. haha

But no worries, cuz in every rough, slippery roads ( or even long-curving staircase ), is a paradise waiting. And when I say paradise, I mean it! This is the reward to your palpitating noses after that descent.

It only costs a hundred peso to enjoy all these. Comfort wise about these amenities is notably excellent. In fact, they have a shower, a faucet right beside each griller, convenient restrooms (in case you want some literal rest :D ). AND, did I mention all these fab cottages are all for free? Yes, it's for free. Head nods. wha .. what  FOR FREE?!!!!!! Heaven's sent! ( yeah right ) But you get to enjoy this if you're an early bird.  Early bird catches early worms and enjoy the landscape with a style. So better  be the earliest and choose the best cottage that satisfy your senses!

The weather was gloomy, but nature didn't fail to amaze me! With all that crystal clear sea, serene environment, occasional ripples made by school of fish, gang of ravens , the intricate bonsai, welcoming locals, these I consider to be one of my best resort's experience! I was in great rehab after the city noise. And if you need one, come , plunge and mingle yourself in this splendid resort with your family, barkadas, team, or with a better-half.  Wander, let loose ,appreciate and reimagine Cebu and it's treasure.

So, this has been my first feature of Cebu's galore. More upcoming posts of my escapes!

Love you Oslob!

So this made me invisible here. And at least you have this glimpse what I did last month. Quite engrossed huh? haha. BTW, I have this thing to write notes for my month's endeavors, why, to keep me focused and celebrate some personal winning moments and crave to do: MORE. The best parts of my June were the confession ( my first confession this year ), rekindling my passion and giving my dad a blast on his day! An epic win surprise which made him nearly burst to tears. I was once his sperm, now (one of ) his endorphins. I love him big!




Cuz he's my Superman, always in ultra protective mode. haha

“So what will I do now?” , she baffled. “ Well, bitch just keep movin!”, a superior yads-like voice responded. “ No time and no more excuses here. Do what's the-musts, the next, and do what pleases you!” it added. “Spread your version in the world ” it concluded. It was a major green light to her . She felt lightened, extreme and thrilled. “I may be doing a step at a time, but what's important is that I keep moving forward where I wanted to be. Slowly but will surely be there” , she cheered up. So she kept herself with a sweet grin. “ This blog will keep its spark and readers will continue making this blog as an escape of their senses.” Sooner, readers will know what she meant.
